The University of Dundee Global Excellence Scholarships is available for Undergraduate & Postgraduate students to apply. They’re awarding automatic Global Excellence Scholarships of up to £25,000 to the most inspiring undergraduate applicants and £5,000 to most inspiring postgraduate applicants.
Dundee Global Excellence Scholarship is open for students from the UK, EU, and 201 countries who hold an academic offer of entry for an undergraduate programme in any of their academic schools for September entry.

There are two major types of Dundee Global Excellence Scholarships available for inspiring applicants, there are:

University of Dundee Global Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduates Eligibility
They’re awarding automatic Global Excellence Scholarships of up to £25,000 to our most inspiring applicants. If you have demonstrated excellence through your academic, extra-curricular, or voluntary activities, we want to reward you for it. We have 2 levels of award, depending on your academic achievements.
In order to be considered for the £5,000 per year (up to £25,000) scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold an academic offer of entry for an undergraduate programme in any of our academic schools, beginning in September 2021. If you are studying a programme in the School of Medicine or Dentistry, then you are not eligible.
- Hold International Fee status, as determined by the University;
- Have achieved a UK AAB at A-Level (or above) or equivalent to this level at the discretion of the University.
In order to be considered for the £2,000 per year (up to £10,000) scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold an academic offer of entry for an undergraduate programme in any of our academic schools, beginning in September 2021. If you are studying a programme in the School of Medicine or Dentistry, then you are not eligible.
- Hold International Fee status, as determined by the University;
- Have achieved a UK BBB at A Level or equivalent to this level at the discretion of the University.
Global Excellence Scholarships for Postgraduate Students

Postgraduate taught programme commencing September 2021 or January 2022 in the following subjects:

If you are studying a programme in the School of Medicine, this will be reviewed on an individual basis and is not automatically awarded.

Dundee Global Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduate Students Eligibility
They’re awarding Global Excellence Scholarships of £5,000 to our most inspiring applicants. If you have demonstrated excellence through your academic, extra-curricular, or voluntary activities, we want to reward you for it.
In order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold an academic offer of entry for a postgraduate taught programme in any of our academic schools, beginning in September 2021 or January 2022. The programme must be a full time, 180 credit, 12-month programme;
- Hold International Fee status, as determined by the University;
- Have achieved either a UK 1st Class Honours degree or a degree considered as equivalent to this level at the discretion of the University
Global Excellence Scholarships Application instructions:
There is no separate application form for this scholarship and the university does not accept written applications. The Admissions Team at the university will assess your eligibility for this scholarship as part of your programme application.
